Frankly I take the easier way and buy ... but I know a hiker babe who
suggests using the sun in summer covering the meat with cheese cloth, an
open oven on low, or a wood stove to dehydrate anything .... fish, beef,
wabbit, squirrel, groundhog, pork, chicken, fruits and veggies ... a
dehydrator isn't necessary ... I want to find her a smoke house!
