Adrian,

Looking at your schedule, it looks like you expecting to make approx. 11 to
12 mile per day the entire trip. If you're like many of the people I've
seen, you'll start slow then work up to a higher mileage. By the time you
reach Virginia you could be doing 15 or more miles a day.

Unless you've got someone at home who's building the food boxes for you as
you need, you may end up at each drop with lots of excess food and more to
pickup. 

Up front, it's almost impossible to know how much your body will respond to
a long distance hike. Just make sure you have enough flexibility in your
schedule and food to adjust to the changing conditions and you'll do fine.
