RE: [at-l] fuel

Paul ask >>How easy is it to get denatured alcohol along the trail? Is it
sold bulk
like Coleman or should one be prepared to use an alternative source like
gas line antifreeze? Any thru hikers use an alcohol stove; and if so, how
did you cope? <<

A cheap and easy solution for alcohol is to purchase a product called Dry
Gas or some simular name. It's sold in most gas stations. It's used to
remove the water from your gas tanks. It's essentially pure alcohol and cost
generally less than a buck for 12 oz.
