Re: [pct-l] sleep on the trail

I am also a very light sleeper and have had periods of insomnia. One of
the reasons for bad sleep are my job[I am a firefighter...lots of night
calls] and over training. I noticed recently while doing my heavy
training weeks for a marathon I ran a few weeks ago. I recognized what
was up and cut back on my mileage and was sleeping better again.
Same holds through on the trail. If I start stacking 20 mile+ days back
to back it starts affecting me the same way. My sleep starts gets real
choppy and I don't feel rested in the morning. If I take a light day it
seems to help.
