I read somewhere that companies do this to get around restrictions
imposed/agreed to in the past. Georgia-Pacific then simply buys timber from
the new company. Illegal? Not my problem. This is one reason why
environmentalists are fighting the sale of the power generating land {Edison
Lake, Florence Lake, Huntington Lake, Shaver Lake etc.] to a third party.
