I mis-typed. The section that abuse everybody was after Muir, not
Forrester. That flat stretch from the pass thru Wanda Lake was covered with
soft snow

Is there a url on the snowshoes you mention? I want to try snowshoeing this
winter in Yosemite and see if this is a real option.
