[pct-l] update on conditions of passes

Does anyone have an update on the condition (snow, ice, water) of
Forrester Pass and Kearsarge Pass Trail?  My friends are there this
week, and although we thought an ice axe would not be necessary, the
PCTA web site trail update still says that it is needed.  Any thoughts
from any of you?  How about the PCT beyond and up to Sonora Pass?
