The JMT/PCT from Woods Creek to Palisades Lakes is not heavily traveled.
LeConte Canyon OUGHT to be a prime bear area. However, packers have been
making unprotected food drops at the Ranger station for years.
As the trail drops to Evolution Creek all the way to Mammoth could be a
problem

Form Donahue Pass to Tolumne Meadows {Stop at Upper Lyell Base Camp} then
hike to Tolumne in one day. Leaving Tolumne hake as far North as you can
