    Well, I hope so! If you outlawed all the bitching about blisters,
aching backs, filthy hair (that's a particularly-popular female-whine,
take my word for it), revolting (or boring) food, *#!!
gear-manufacturers, thieving critters, vicious bugs, B.O.,
too-steep/too-long/too-faint/too-crowded trails, misleading
maps/guidebooks/signs, bad weather/bad karma, inept/unfit/flatulent
hiking buddies  (have I left anything out?) you'd take half the fun out
of backpacking - and most trail-talk would dry up in a heartbeat! <VBG>
