        I've been told that resourceful bears (and wherever they're
habituated to humans, aren't they all?) will try standing on a cannister
with their front feet, and multipy their weight on it by heaving down onto
it to break it open, crush or split it, whatever to get at the contents.  
        One might question if a smart, heavy bear could easily crush a 2-lb,
3-oz aluminum cannister in this way.......?
