Re: [pct-l] maildrops

I hiked the Tahoe-yosemite section last summer and you're right.  There are
no easy maildrops.  I was able to drive and hang food in a tree near the
rest stop at the top of sonora pass.  otherwise you have to hitchike a ways
or carry ten days of food from Echo Summit, or Tuolomne, depending on which
way you're heading.  As the north boundary country of yosemite is a tough
hike, I'd start at Tahoe.
