Photographers who cover sports often shoot the scoreboard between each play
to keep track of when the play they just shot took place. You can modify
this technique without obscuring your photos with a time stamp by snapping
the first photo on a new roll of the day and time on your wrist watch. You
can then match it up to your journal to determine what stream you just took
a picture of.
