[pct-l] Howdy from Montana

Hello to Everyone on the PCT-digest.  I thought I would throw my hat into the ring as another thru-hiker for the upcoming season and introduce myself.  My pal, Mark Dixon (aka Snowman) and myself, Danny Boy, are getting pretty excited about hitting the trail.  We both live in Montana; Missoula and Bozeman, respectively.
I have to commend the Snowman on his fine work for the Snow Survey Updates.  Real valuable information for the upcoming adventure.  I think this is the first time I have ever had to refrain from encouraging the Snow Spirits from unleashing tons of the glorious white stuff.  At least for the Southern Sierras that is!  I am also a hydro-fanatic -  I like malt, hops and yeast with my H2o. I am the proprietor of the best and only Home Brew store in Bozeman.  I'll be sure to have a few batches of kegged homebrew waiting for us and other hikers at the end of the trail.  Sort of like the carrot at the end of the stick for just a wee bit of encouragement.
A few days ago, the talk on the the digest was about bears and food storage.  I think we should just introduce grizzlies all along the PCT just to keep everyone honest and on their toes.  There's nothing better to keep your senses 100% focused than having a few silvertips strolling in the woods with'ya.  They would also probably help in keeping those darn cow-pie dumping bovines away from precious water resources.
I'm really looking forward to meeting all the other spirited souls on the PCT.  If anyone has any beer questions, just fire away.
Jim Horan aka "Candyman" ; Danny Boy is a new one to me - Thanks Mark!  The Danny Boy reference is not from the Irish Ballad but from Jack Nicholson dragging his axe around in the movie The Shining.
