[pct-l] Backpacks

In response to the backpack question, I like the AT pack by Wild Things.
It weighs about 2 1/2 pounds and is rated at 5000 cubic inches. It uses
a removable foam pad for stiffening. The manufacturer says it will not
support more than a 35 pound load. My load hiking the Colorado Trail
this year was usually in the low 20's. This pack supported that load
just as good as my Gregory and kept out the daily rain without a
raincover.
