[pct-l] RE Charlie Thorpe's questions

        Something I've wondered about related to this topic: Once on a short
trip where I used iodine, I got pretty sick overnight.  While I assumed that
it was probably just a flu, I always have wondered if the iodine might have
reacted unfavorably with a medication I also took at bedtime.  While there's
no way to know for sure about that episode, the question that I pose is if
anyone has ever heard of anything that iodine doesn't mix with, IE
cold/allergy medications, migraine headache medications, or other things
that people might routinely take while in the backcountry......?
