Feb 15 1998, San Diego Area 50 mile trail run. Sponsored by SURF.

Pacific Crest Trail monument on the USA / Mexico border, 1.5 miles south of
Campo, CA (65 mi. east of San Diego). Out and back on the Pacific Crest
Trail winding north from the monument through the foothills of the Laguna
Mountains to the turn-around near Lake Morena. Elevation range of 2320’ to
3495’ should avoid most winter snow.
