[pct-l] 1998 Thru-hike

I have no idea how welcome this post is here, since in a sense, it is a "me,
too!", but here goes...

I too am planning to thru-hike the PCT in '98, el nino notwithstanding (we
were told that '96 was a bad time for the AT, what with the hurricaines and
all, but it didn't suck _too_ much)  :-)  

Aside from the entertaining and generally well-argued hourse wars, Jardine
wars, etc, I  have enjoyed getting a sense of at least a small section of
fellow '98ers.

I've been enjoying the list for a while now -- thanks all!
