[pct-l] snow

We want to get out on the trail around second or third week of June
(originally planned OR and WA) but the snow levels look bad here...I was
wondering how they are in the Northen Sierras-would it be possible to get on
the PCT at the I-80 road crossing near Donner Pass and head North with
less (or no) snow problems then?
