Katana sword is OK if you want to prick a bear and make him angry.   
For my money, I'll go with the Scottish Claymore.  Five feet long, a  
foot wide and weighs enough to arrest yourself from even trying to  
climb the hill to begin with.  Assuming you have the upper body  
strength to loft the beast, full grown grizzlies will cower at your  
feet and B-52's will change course and go around. Carry this  
righteous implement of God's holy wrath from Campo to Manning Park  
and you'll be as famous as Squeaky and nearly as tired.
