I will be  attending the Friends General Conference near Seatle on July 1-7. 
I want to  hike there on the PCT.
So, here is what I need to know. How far is it from  Big Bear? How long will 
it take to hike? I'm assuming people hike 3 mph. I  would make the time 
calculation but I don't know the  distance.
