You need to go to Google and download and install Google Earth. Then click
on the link. It'll bring up the full PCT trail laid out on the on the world.


You then scroll in for detail. You can do a fly over of the entire trail and
look at amazing detail.

I find it's best if you tilt the image so you're not looking straight down.
This way you can see the full relief. It's amazing to see the trail wind its
way through the Sierra Mtns. If you want you can leave little bookmarks at
different locations to quickly return to see them. 

When you get tired of the PCT you can fly over and see your house.
