[pct-l] Snow Camping, Tyvek

So here's my problem: I like to snowshoe and camp in
the Sierras, but digging a snow cave takes forever and
I tend to get soaked digging it, so I just stomp down
a level area in the snow and set up my regular one-man
tent (SD lightyear/REI roadster). But then it snows
(or as is the case thus far this year, mostly just
rains) and my tent sags a little, and my sleeping bag
rubs against the moist tent walls and any part of the
bottom that isn't covered by my pad, and after one
night of this, my down bag is pretty much soaked. Any
 suggestions on staying dry?

My thoughts thus far were along the lines of caring my
two man tent so I'd be sure never to touch the edges,
or getting some Tyvek for a ground cloth or maybe the
tents' footprints. If you think Tyvek would be less
wet to the touch after sitting on snow for 12 hours
than a supposedly waterproof tent bottom, where can
you buy it? Do people just buy rolls off ebay?

thanks,
the Onion
