[pct-l] Super Secrets Updates

Other devices for you to consider: Checkout the Sony Cyber-Shot T7 ($500
street price) camera. Very thin and excellent features. Also, the Panasonic
SDR-S100 SD ($1200 list) camcorder is really small and adequately capable.

By the way, I have not forgotten about Sub Extreme Ultra Light backpacking.
The experiments will begin after the first of the year into negative,
neutral, and positive Sub Extreme Ultra Light load carrying. The experiments will
take place in my garage, which will probably become a historic tour site in
years to come along with the appropriate federal calendar holiday to
memorialize the experiments. Sort of like the Thomas Edison's lab in New Jersey. I
have already obtained a source of the key supply item and can easily transfer
that from my neighbor's garage next door to my garage. I was lucky that his
hobby includes using this important ingredient. :-)

A fellow I met down at the park where I walk my dog with my LuxuryLite.com
external frame backpack, bought $800 worth of gear from LuxuryLite recently.
This included the Backpacker Cot. He seems very excited and happy about it.
The only recommendation I made to him was to add bottom straps to the Front
Pack and to only carry 2-liters of water in it. This makes it a very
comfortable to carry.

Speaking of water, I my latest technique to carry heavy water is one of the
best I have ever come up with. It involves spreading the load around and not
concentrating on one area of the body or set of muscles. I carry 2 bottles
in my belly pack (my old ancient Kelty fanny pack), 2 liters in the
LuxuryLite Front Pack, and if needed, 2 liters in the lower cylinder of the backpack.
The key is to spread the load around. Balance it out. Very nice carry.

Until next time, your hiking buddy, Switchback
