[pct-l] Long Sleeves and Pants

Regardless of season we always hike in long sleeves and long pants, for 
protection against sun, insects, and abrasions from vegetation.  We wear 
long nylon pants with zip-off legs so they can be used as a swimsuit, 
and long voluminous silk shirts from thrift stores.  These aren't 
durable but they are very cool in hot weather.  On a four week hike I 
take four shirts and they all come home shredded.  Solid color ones last 
a lot longer than prints.  They dry very fast, and let all the breezes 
through.
