[pct-l] Lasik and altitude

I wonder how well diabetics handle the surgery.

My optometrist advises against LASIK until I reach 50 years of age.
He explained that it's very common for males' eyesight to progressively
degrade from the years 35-50 (approximately).
He says that if I got LASIK now, it would correct my vision TODAY.
However, as I grow older, my eyesight will continue to degrade from there.

I have a ways to go before I can do LASIK. I don't wear my glasses except
while working. It's getting to the point that I need them for driving (if
you see a black Tacoma with a PCT sticker on it, GET OUTTA MY WAY!!!!!).
