[pct-l] anyone used a battery free flashlight?

I have one of these in our emergency bag. Personally, I wouldn't take it on
a thru-hike, I would take an PrincetonTec EOS headlamp (or something
smaller/lighter).

(1) There are flashlights which are a lot lighter. The EOS is something like
1/2 the weight

(2) I would rather take a headlamp so I can have light and have both hands
free. Especially when hiking since I use poles.

(3) If I am doing night-time navigation I would want something brighter. The
EOS is sonething like 5-10x brighter

(4) I would want something with a wider beam. Our induction flashlight has a
very narrow and focused beam. I think it was the designers attempt to
compensate for a bulb which isn't that bright.

(5) I would find it annoying to need shake the flashlight for my light. My
memory is that for every minute of shaking I get something like 10 minutes
of light. That's a lot of shaking, Maybe it was better than that.
