I have been working with kids from 8 to 80 for 25 years and nothing
surpasses your awareness of your surroundings as they relate to your map. Be
attentive and watchful and know where you're going and you'll do just fine, even
over 20 feet of snow. And you'll enjoy your trip more 'cause you'll notice more!
