[pct-l] Emergncy Relocation to Tahoe - SOS

Ned,

I've been told by others that, as Ilja wrote, arsenic is above allowable
limit in various areas of the western US. At work I have involvement with a
power plant in Delta, Utah that operates continuously, with just under 300
people. At times the combination of well and surface water used there has
arsenic above limit. The solution currently used at the plant is multiple
reverse osmosis filters at points of human contact use, sheduled sampling
from each of those points, and sample testing by an independent lab in Salt
Lake City. The points of use that are filtered, sampled, and tested are
drinking fountains, sinks in lunch/breakrooms, and restroom lavatories.
Commodes and urinals aren't filtered. Power plant process water is treated
but not by reverse osmosis, and not specifically for arsenic removal.
Hopefully something similar might work for you and your family and
menagerie.
