No guarantees! Watch for posts from the South Bounders - and ask some that
you meet on the trail.

Bugs: expect that they will be around. Don't camp near a meadow or any
ponds. Bring deet. But, you may be lucky and you won't need it. But, do
watch out for mice at night about a night before White Pass.

Water: generally it will not be a problem, but read the guide and be
prepared to carry a couple liters (I always have enough bottles/containers
for that). This may be a dry year. Although we are still getting rain, that
could change in a hurry. There could be some swift crossing, but maybe not.

Finding the trail: As I remember, it was pretty easy. Just have the guide
with maps and watch for the signs. I've almost took a wrong turns around Mt.
Rainier - like taking a trail into the park rather than parallel it. But,
the guide was pretty explicit about the routing, so that was my fault.
