[pct-l] screwiness above pine canyon rd.

Try morethanamile.com for a map. The place where you and others were led astray was where you passed a short section of fence across the trail. The fence was placed to help prevent what happened. A sign was removed at that location also.

hello-

i'm off trail for a few days to attend a wedding (and star wars!) and
thought i'd see if anyone out there has a TOPO! track for the abandoned
section of the pct that i and several other hikers ended up on,
somewhere after red rock tank... it took us down to sandberg instead of
down to the sag pond @ pine canyon rd.

i'm just curious to find out how many miles' detour that was, and where
exactly the trail went!

cheers-

girl scout
