[pct-l] Nicknames



...which is why I picked mine ;-) - an often thorny, spiny plant that
dresses up once a year.

Sometimes it's better to pick one that suits you than have one you don't
want stick to you.

I dont understand all these nicknames. Are you supposed to get a
nickname from someone else or do you make one up yourself. I think Ive
read its some tradition from AT hiking but giving yourself a nickname
seems odd to me.
