[pct-l] Flip flop info... cheaper and better.

My ballpark estimate for Green Tortoise, if you can get 30 people together, was about $150-$200, and that would take the hikers right up to Manning Park. We'll see if there's enough that make it past or through the San Berdos and San Gabes at close enough to the same time to make that another option. Actually, the deal sounds like so much fun that I might just want to go along for the ride if it happens!

I was looking at info last night on how much it would cost to get to Manning Park. http://www.westjet.com/ WestJet is Canada's second biggest airlines. You can fly to Abbotsford, BC (which is only 110 miles from Manning Park) for $216 from LA or San Diego (last night it was only $112 and I didn't buy a ticket......moan). From there you can get a dirty dog for $25.15 (7:35 am to 10:10 am at Manning). No reservations are available on the dirty dog. This is a lot better than flying into Seattle, then taking the dog 9 hours to Manning....Cheaper too.

The weather is beautiful in the Lagunas. I only traveled a 3.4 mile section and saw about 10 hikers. The forecast for the next 5 days is more gorgeous weather.
