[pct-l] Shipping from the east coast.

I am getting ready to ship some items to San Diego from CT and would like to 
know what method is legal/best for shipping:

1. Empty fuel bottle for MSR stove. (clean-no fuel odor.)
2. MSR Stove.
3. Matches.

>From what I've learned so far on the pct-l, it's ok to fly with 
pocketknives, and ice axe, and crampons.....if not, please let me know.
