[pct-l] yeah skip VVR



Just remember that Mammoth is a high priced venue also...69.00 a night for 1 
person at the Motel 6.

I was also disappointed by most of the restaurants there...I would stick to 
pizza and burgers.

Easy to spend a c-note for a one night stay..

Good Pubs though..great selection of microbrews

P.S. I believe that any of the "hiker" items that get sold at VVR are from 
the previous year's season...VVR has to haul all of the excess (and there is 
a lot) food in the hiker boxes out of there at the each season's end. I feel 
that they are entitled to recoup their costs for this service.
