[pct-l] April 3 San Jacinto Snow Prediction

I predict that on today, April 3, on San Jacinto you will find:

1. 2 feet of snow at the Palm Springs Tramway.
2. 3 to 4 feet of solid snow cover at Round Valley, elevation 9,100', which
is 1 mile southeast of San Jacinto Peak (Map B10).

This prediction is based on a snowshoe trip I made there yesterday. </TIC>

>From down below, San Jacinto, San Gorgonio, and the San Gabriels appear to
still have heavy snow cover. It was about 52 degrees at 9,000 feet
yesterday, so the snow melt is on. Still, be careful out there.
