I had condensation issues using a sil-nylon tarptent last summer as well,
and now that I think it about it, it was at it's worst when I was camped
high (no trees) and around thick alpine groundcover.....interesting.

I may brave enother season with my 30 deg. down bag and tarptent combo given
these refresher tips.....
