[pct-l] Walking Man IPA

Did you know that IPA (India Pale Ale) was conceived by the British
homelanders supplying expatriots and colonists living in India. They
discovered that pumping up the alcohol content and the amount of hops used
in the brewing process would prevent the kegs of unrefrigerated beer from
spoiling on the long journey from England to India. Just someting I learned
as a bartender while earning tip money to make the PCT hike a reality
(therein lies the relevance of this post-- also see the term 'Walking Man'
in the header).
Happy hiking on this glorious Sunday!
