[pct-l] Sierra Deigns ultra light year (tent)?

I tried the Titanium stakes but they are really just too thin to hold the tent in the sandy soil of SoCal. I ended up going back to the original stakes. They weight difference was minimal.

My rainfly was a light/medium green. That seemed fairly mellow to me.

I, too, absolutely love my Ultralightyear. No insects, no condensation, no chilly breezes.....

sorry I rounded down :(

Maybe they had problems with the Eastons or I bought mine before they
switched over. That's more than an ounce difference. Are you using the
original stakes?

I used mine in 2000 and loved it. Will have it or my Atko with me this
year. Most people may be using tarps, but I love my home away from home.
Wish they made the rain fly in a mellower color.
