[pct-l] Energy Bars

I too like energy bars, and not cooking. I found some great bars made
by a small company in Albany California. They are Bear Valley Food Bars
at http://www.mealpack.com/

They are about 4 ounces and 440 calories. I saw them in a whole foods
store in Salt Lake for $3.50. If you buy 50 of them, they are just less
than a buck apiece. Ingredients, in order of dominance, are malted corn
and barley, nonfat milk, honey, wheat germ, raisins, soy flour, walnuts,
soy oil, wheat bran, pecans, and grape juice. There are four flavors.
This one is the fruit & nut one.

I ate five of them a day on a week trip last summer, with some finger
food for dinner and pb&j and bread for the heavy lunch. I was always
full - never a pang of hunger, as long as I remembered to eat every
couple hours.
