Chuckie tells a story about the plush Canadian jails..
The police in Canda are much different than the police
here! :)

Matt Geis (aka Iron Chef) has a wonderful story about
the  Canadian border officials and how tough they are
compared to their US counterparts.

Matt and his now wife went to where PCTers are
supposed to report (Hope, BC). Naturally, because we
are on foot, very few PCTers go there. Well Matt had a
car and went there. The Canandian official were so
excited that a PCTer stoppeb by  that they gave him
Canandian Mounties rub-on tatoos! 


Yep..things are much more laid back in Canada. :)




(If Matt is reading this, hope you don't mind me
telling the story for you. It is one of my favorites
that I heard about the PCT!)
