[pct-l] NB Shoes.

I picked up two pairs of size 15 NB shoes, (I normally wear 13/14, but I'm 
accounting for swollen feet syndrome and I figure I can ski down some of the 
inclines if needed!)  If you are near the Boston area, get over to the town 
of Brighton where you can get great deals on NB shoes.  The NB store is on 
Life St., just off the Mass. Pike.  I picked up a pair of NB 856 and a pair 
of NB 690 shoes for only $40.00 each after the store discount was applied.  
Both pairs are lightweight with decent soles and they are VERY breatheable; 
air passes right through them and the soles are removeable to insert a 
better sole such as Superfeet, etc.  I'm currently researching mid-weight 
boots and I think I may go with the Scarpa ZG65 GTX, (does anyone have any 
feedback on that boot.)  Also, at what point do most people attempting a 
thru-hike see their first pair of shoes wear out; I'd like to know what town 
to have my second pair mailed to.
