Control local means forget global. Your environmental standards will disappear. The rest of the world tried to warn you.But you still elected Bush

bush is a good steward of public lands,he`s been listening to our gripes and has acted on them. just look what he`s done for p.c.t. hikers.many hiker journals were filled with complaints that hikeing through endless forests were boring,no more worries on this point, thanks to healthy forests, more clearcuts =more views, and remember the bigger the cut the bigger the view! don`t worry about those tree hugging envirormental elitists getting in the way , they have no say,no public particapation is allowed.

ultralighters also have reasons to cheer, some of you might be tempted to carry the unnessasary weight of fishing gear, but arn`t sure if it is worth it. again your pleas have been ansered,it won`t be worth it.thanks to the cutbacks of 80% of salmon habitat and the relaxing of enviormental regulations, you can be sure the p.c.t. will soon be a fish free experiance, thus saving you a few precious ounces of fishing gear.

on one point the adminastration has really come up big. the two biggest topics of discussion are, carrying a bear can,and taking your dog through the national parks. dubya has heard you loud and clear. with personel cutbacks throughout the national parks system, you can be assured of a ranger free hike, free from the stress of unneassary questions and hassles from the man, compassionent consevative?sound like a liberal to me!

for everyone who has complained that the p.c.t. has become too easy and is turning into a tourist trail, recreational budget cuts will assure a more "rustic" p.c.t. experiance.

having resupply problems?thanks to this adminastrations foresight, the p.c.t. will soon get rid of all those pesky "roadless" areas, more roads =more resupply oppertunities, why you probally wont have to go more than a day or two without hitting a road ,now thats progress!

i see great days ahead for the p.c.t.
