[pct-l] Ray Way Products

The gear projects are ultralight. The knife project is based
on a workshop from the Connection Camp classes, which
involve a number of primitive skills exercises. You wouldn't
use such a knife on a typical backpacking trip, but rather
as a primary tool for fashioning other implements in a
survival-type setting.

The gear projects are a great way to learn how to sew and
save a chunk of change in the process. If trying the tarp
and/or net-tent project, make sure to get the Tarp Book, as
this explains the sewing process in elaborate detail, as
well as how to use the items for maximum efficiency.

A 1.9 ounce knife with a 1.5 ounce sheath? Doesn't sound
like Ray to me <g>!

AsABat
0.5 ounce Gerber folding knife
1.5 ounce Mini-Buck tool

Has anyone bought and sewn products from his website:
www.ray-way.com? What

is your opinion?

Sounds interesting to make your own gear, including knives.
The prices seem

very good.

Thanks, Switchback
