He always intended to do a yo-yo.  He blew by me in the Lagunas in April.  I tried to keep up with him for as long as I could so I could hear his story.  He told me he'd attempted a yo-yo several times before but had been stopped by the snow in the Sierra.  If I remember right, this was his 6th ot 7th PCT hike (also a record).

I give it up to anyone who has completed a PCT thru-hike.  To do it twice in one year is an absolutely incredible feat of endurance and fortitude!  Congrats to Scott.
