Marge, You might try to get ahold of Flyin Brian or Trail Dad. If I remember correctly he carried one on a portion of his hike - I think part of the CDT. Their experience might be a little dated but still might worthwhile. No doubt Brian was a gram weenie! David david@dalbey.org
