[pct-l] Northern California Section N Hat Creek Rim

I'd say late May or June would be better. Last year was a heavier snow year
up there than usual, but when I drove thru that area in late March last
year, there was still 3-4 feet of snow on the side of the highway between
Old Station and Susanville...

i plan to hike parts of the Northern California Section N: Hwy 44 (Subway
Cave) - Hat Creek Rim - Burney Falls early next year.
Due to Schaffer's guidebook this part is generally hikeable by April. Is
that reasonable in an average snow year ?
Any other advice (water availability, camping) is appreciated.
Thanks, Thomas
