[BULK] - [pct-l] So. Calif Forests to Close until Rain?

Well, then I saw the next post regarding "extreme" vs "critical"...
I heard this morning that the Angelus NF is closed.
The rest of the forests will probably follow suit shortly.

NOAA reports:

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN DIEGO CA

700 AM PDT FRI SEP 24 2004

.SYNOPSIS...STATIONARY HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BRING WARM...DRY WEATHER
THIS WEEKEND. A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH APPROACHING FROM THE NORTHWEST WILL
BRING COOLING AND A DEEPER MARINE LAYER NEXT WEEK.

The additional moisture may keep the forest open...

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't give up yet! Let's see what the official restrictions
say.
