[pct-l] death of a hiker



Was the woman's pack 60 pounds wet, or had the contents inside of it dried
by the time the pack was weighed?  If the pack was submerged in water (and
that's my understanding from what I've read on the list), isn't it possible
that everything was very wet, causing the pack to weigh more than it did
when the hiker originally packed it?
