[pct-l] Snow on southern JMT - NOT

In response to the post several days ago requesting trail/snow info 
near Forester Pass and the southern JMT, I was backpacking in this area 
from Aug 1-8 and can say with absolute certainty that there is no snow 
anywhere from Crabtree Meadows to the junction at Onion Valley. Not 
only that, but I don't think I swatted more than a dozen mosquitoes all 
week, most of them in the vicinity of Wallace Creek which is south of 
Crabtree. I used neither mosquito headnet nor deet on the trip, which 
was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise.
