Received a message on my phone mid day friday from one one the hikers and his
daughter... Stephen Mulhall from Vancouver.   They had left Campo on the
24th and passed thru
Lake Morina about 10 am on the 25th.  I sent an extra 25 lbs.of gear and
food ahead to 
Big Bear City for them that they had carried from the boarder and that they
found they could live without....

14 days to do 253 miles averaging 18+ per day... this is all I know, sorry
that I missed
the call..
